Luwak Coffee

Everyone has a favorite beverage, some are crazy for juices some for spirits. I am loopy for coffee. Trust me, if coffee was a person I would have already planned the wedding. There are various types of coffees with a range of  origination and there are a number of franchises promoting them.

A packet of Luwak coffee powder was kept at home in the kitchen. I was excited to open it and try it out, then again after grasp its origination I did no longer trip it like who would have the courage to try coffee made with cat feces. Somehow, after a few weeks I had the courage to open the packet and to my surprise it didn't scent bad, which influenced me to combine it with warmth milk and to attempt it.

And quickly I fell in love with this coffee. I was very much into looking at the process of its making. Luckily I did get a chance and it was a memorable experience at Bas De Atayana, Bali Indonesia. Where I saw Luwak, also known as civet cat. This animal has special digestive enzymes, which can digest the coffee fruit and poop out coffee seed. The seeds are fermented in the civet cat's stomach. These seeds are further refined 3 times followed up by roasting and crushing and that is how Luwak coffee, one of the most expensive coffee is made.

At Bas De Atayana I got an opportunity to try a lot of first rate varieties of teas and coffees and then I realized that ginseng coffee is what i enjoy the most. And yet I have written about Luwak.
