Friendship

friendship is the state of being friends (according to dictionary meaning)

Friendship isn't about who knows more about you or cares more about you; It is moreover about who matches your vibes and who makes you feel at home, whether you are in some hostel surrounded by jungles. A home is where family and friends are. Friendship isn't about seeing each other every day or talking all the time; it's more about the feeling that nothing has changed even if you guys aren't just in close contact with one another. The length of time you have known someone or the amount of lengthy discussion you share doesn't define the depth of your friendship. This depth is interpreted by how close you are to each other and how much you understand about each other just by facial expression or some infer in body language. Friendship is more than just sharing your tiffin or catching hold of someone when one is falling; It is also about asking for treats and making the other fall just for a hit of a laugh.

Knowing someone's background or the stories isn't the most important thing. The most important thing is that you don't have to fake yourself; you don't need to be a sophisticated person and eat noodles with a fork rather than eating it with your fingers probably eating as a monkey would.

It is not always necessary to have all true or good friends. Some friends may only be there for a short time in your life to teach you something unknowingly. Some friends are there so you can understand the significance of various things. Some friends motivate you to bring the best version of yourself. Some friends might be the jealous type or even the back bitching type, but don't they make the daily routine a bit more interesting? Imagine having the perfect life with perfect friends and all happy-go-lucky. How boring would that be at times?

Friendship doesn't only imply that you need to talk to some stranger and share some good memories with them. Your cousins can also be your friends or the less nosy neighbor aunty. The goodness you share towards each other defines a good friendship. Krishna and Sudama's friendship is the ultimate example of goodness-based friendship. We've all heard or read about how, after becoming king, Krishna treated his childhood friend Sudama with honor, even if Sudama was a poor person. It teaches us that friendship does not have to be between equals. It must be between like-minded individuals.

“Living...... Means having bonds with others. Paying attention to someone. Loving someone. Hating someone. Have fun being with someone. Taking someone’s hand. That’s what it means to live. If you’re all alone, you can't tell that you exist. Your relationship with others is what defines being alive. I know my mind exists since I can interact with others. I know my body exists because others touch me. That’s where the purpose of being alive comes from. Just like we’ve been chosen to live out this moment here and now.”
