Beauty

 With time, the definition of beauty has been changing. Where once plump and curvy was considered beautiful, today thin and willowy is. Definition of beauty changes from country to country. 

Dark hair and dark skin might be beautiful to one and blonde hair and blue eyes to another. For some beauty is the appearance of a person and for some, it goes as deep as the soul. It is true when they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder as every individual has a different meaning of it. 

To me beauty is based what you think about yourself. It goes hand in hand with your self confidence , with self love and the way you present yourself. 

Self love does seem a little selfish, but we as a society need to realize that in order for us to be able to love someone else, we need to be able love ourselves first because you can't pour tea from a kettle to fill a cup which is itself empty. Self love is about setting boundaries and respecting yourself at all times. Its about the courage to walk away from toxic people no matter how much you love them. It's not selfish to be disciplined about your routines and habits, because discipline is the strongest form of self love, and self love is beautiful and it makes you feel beautiful.

For me self love includes a morning cup of coffee and enjoying the view of nature, for others it might be an early morning jog for some it might sitting in a corner and re-reading your favorite novel or watching your favorite series again. Everyone has a different way of nourishing, prioritizing and caring for themselves which makes everyone special in their way.

To believe in oneself and be who you really are makes you beautiful in your own unique way.
