Happiness, is merely a state of mind; you decide what makes you happy and what doesn't make you happy. It's basically up to you. Happiness can even be found in small things like giving chocolate to a small kid or maybe by giving a set of bangles purchased from a street hawker. The child would be happy on the fact that someone got me something, moreover as someone gifted me something. It's not necessary to have money to make you happy and it's even necessary to have money to make you happy. A street vendor, if given a 2000 rupee note would be happy as he would be stress-free from work. But giving the same amount of money to a rich kid might not make him filled with the same level of happiness, and might even return it back to you.
